In the fall of 2003, at the Blue Light in Lubbock, a chocolate habanero found its way into a bottle of vodka. It was an experiment with an unexpected result: the beginning of BURN.

Ours started with music, friends, and a chocolate habanero. The rest took on a life of its own.
2008
A LOCAL FAVORITE
By the summer of 2008, BURN shots had found their place in Lubbock’s music scene. Apple, watermelon, candy, and pickle versions became part of the local bar culture.
2019
FROM THE BAR TO THE BOTTLE
After years of experimenting, the blend was ready. BURN’s first retail bottle was sold in August 2019: smooth vodka, distinctive habanero character, and a little toasted sweetness.
2021
SWEET MEETS HEAT
Apple BURN became the first bottled flavor in 2021, bringing a familiar West Texas favorite into an easy-to-serve bottle. Chill it, pour it, and enjoy.
